Honkai: Star Rail is out for PS5 on October 11, 2023, with the unlock time estimated to be around 6am CST (UTC+8) based on the fact that players can receive special rewards for purchasing a pre-order bundle before that specific time.

Honkai: Star Rail PS5 preload
You can preload Honkai: Star Rail on PS5 only if you purchase the pre-order bundle on the PlayStation Store for a price of $9.99 USD. This will enable you to get into the game as soon as the servers are online. Otherwise you won’t be able to download the game prior to launch.
The Honkai: Star Rail pre-order bundle comes with a bunch of in-game items making the start a little bit easier, such as plenty of XP materials for characters and weapons as well as credits. In terms of gacha currency, the bundle only contains two regular Star Rail Passes – a negligible amount.
Players who've already played Honkai: Star Rail on another platform can simply continue where they left off on the PS5 as long as their accounts are connected, so no worries about having to start from scratch – cross-progression between platforms is very much a thing.
Honkai: Star Rail will be free-to-play on PS5 and won’t require PS Plus to work despite being an online-only title.
