To kick this Side Adventure off, head to Hateno Village and to the new build home at the end of the bridge close to the village entrance. Those who played the last game will remember this as Link’s house, but it’s since been occupied by Princess Zelda.

Head to the back of the house and down the well, where you will find Zelda’s dairy. Turns out she was making a new Champion’s Tunic for Link and has hidden it in the Throne Room of Hyrule Castle.

First off, you need to reach Hyrule Castle, which is suspended in the air. The easiest way to do this is to use the jump tower in Lookout Landing.

You can find the Throne Room on the north side of the large circular center of the castle, on floor 1F. You’ll see these red banners as you approach from the outside.

Confusingly, it isn’t actually called the Throne Room. It’s called Sanctum. If that word flashes up on your screen as you enter, you’re in the right place. There’s also a throne at the back of the room because, you know, Throne Room.

Light the two braziers on either side of the throne by any means necessary. I used Fire Fruit on the first one, then lit an arrow on that and fired it into the second. You can also use Wood with Flint, Red Chu Chu Jelly, and more.

Once you’ve done it, a statue behind the throne will move, revealing a chest containing the Champion’s Leathers. “This garment, worn by those in good standing with Hyrule royalty, has been reworked with the latest improvements, such as a new shoulder guard,” the item description reads.
