If you’ve managed to make it inside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Great Hyrule Forest – first, congratulations – you will find it isn’t as happy and peaceful as usual. Instead it is infected with Gloom. All of the Koroks have fallen silent, and the Great Deku Tree itself is complaining of stomach pains.

You won’t be able to progress far in the Lost Woods or even collect the Master Sword without curing the Great Deku Tree, so make sure to read through this guide to cure the Great Deku Tree so you can get closer to claiming the legendary sword.
