Remnant 2: Every secret archetype and how to unlock them
Remnant 2’s base four classes (five if you bought the Gunslinger DLC) are enough to see you through the game’s story if you’re good, and you can unlock a secondary archetype slot to improve your abilities, but things get even crazier when you dive into the secret archetypes hidden away in the game.

Summoner

Like the Handlet, the Summoner relies on minions to distract enemies and deal huge damage. It is by far the easiest archetype to unlock, as you can find it in the game’s first major area – if you know where to look.
Alchemist
Able to sustain concoction effects and cast them onto allies easier, the Alchemist is a great teammate. Things get a bit tougher for this one, as not only do you need to make it further into the game, but you need to take down a very tough enemy to get the Philosopher’s Stone you need.
Engineer

Engineer is one of the more enjoyable classes in Remnant 2, as it gets a flamethrower by default and generally relies on heavy weapons. While you can get the Engineer fairly early on, it’s quite tricky to do if you don’t know what you’re looking for.
Invader

The Invader is an elusive class, both in terms of how it plays and how you unlock it. This is a stealth character that hides from enemies and unleashes deadly strikes when their guard is down. As for unlocking it, you’ve got to go through a gauntlet of tasks that ends in taking down a tough boss.
Explorer

The Explorer makes treasure hunting much easier, as it’s designed for grinding items and rewards in the post-game. The process for unlocking it is quite straightforward, it’ll just take you a while.
Archon

It's taken the entire Remnant 2 community almost two weeks with the game, but they have finally solved the mystery of how to unlock the Archon class. It turns out you need to seek out a specific set of items and complete a complex maze.
