Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Hero of Time outfit locations
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is full of references to older games in the series. You can get most of Link’s previous armor sets quite easily thanks to amiibo, but those same sets are all hidden away in the game world somewhere too. We recently discovered where to get the Wind Waker outfit, and now we’re tracking down the Hero of Time outfit from Ocarina of Time.
This outfit is one of Link’s most iconic, with a bright green tunic and floppy hat that we all immediately think of when we picture Link. We’ll tell you where to find the Hero of Time armor.

Cap of Time location – Zelda TOTK
The Cap of Time is near streams of lava in Tears of the Kingdom.
All three armor pieces are in the depths, so make sure you’re stocked up on Brightbloom seeds. The Cap of Time is in the northwest corner of the map, which is a tricky place to get to in the Depths, as there are no nearby chasms. Instead, you’ll need to head closer to due north to avoid the massive mountains that block your path, and then you can start heading west again.
The chest is on top of a rock pillar very close to a lavafall, so you’ll want to bring some heat-resistant clothing or food.
Tunic of Time location – Zelda TOTK
The Tunic of Time is in Lindor Canyon Mine in Tears of the Kingdom.
The Tunic of Time is much easier to reach. Dive into the chasm just west of the Runakit Shrine, and head back east. You can use the overworld map to navigate, as it is just northwest of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower. You’ll eventually reach Lindor Canyon Mine, where the chest is waiting in the center.
Trousers of Time location – Zelda TOTK
The Trousers of Time are in the deepest parts of the Depths in Tears of the Kingdom.
Head up to the Gerudo Highlands and jump into the chasm at the very top of the mountain. This will drop you directly into Gerudo Canyo Mine, where the chest containing the Trousers of Time is waiting in the center.
