Honkai: Star Rail – Acheron revealed for update 2.1
HoYoverse has revealed Acheron as a playable Honkai: Star Rail character set for release in update 2.1. Given that version 2.0 is scheduled to launch on February 7, 2024, we can expect 2.1 to arrive on March 20, 2024, making this the earliest possible release date for Acheron.
Acheron is a 5-Star character following The Nihility and dealing Lightning Damage, so she’s got the same setup as Kafka – and given the reactions of people online to her official reveal, her popularity may rival the Stellaron Hunter’s as well. Her outfit looks very similar to that of Seele, which has people joking that they’re long-lost twins.
Acheron is coming to Honkai: Star Rail in update 2.1.

Acheron’s voice actress has been confirmed as Allegra Clark, who has a ton of anime and video game roles under her belt already. Previous work of her’s includes Apex Legends, Street Fighter 6, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Stray Gods, Starfield, and Jujutsu Kaisen.
This is what the official description said about Acheron:
“Lone voyagers in the cosmos are driven by two desires: to tread in the trails of the past, and to forge their own way. But under Their scrutiny... most end up adhering to the former.” A drifter claiming to be a Galaxy Ranger. Her true name is unknown, and she walks the cosmos alone, carrying with her a long sword. Though aloof and taciturn, her blade flicks out like lashing lightning. And yet, she always strikes with her scabbard, never drawing the sword free.
We’ll meet Acheron on Penacony, our next destination with the Astral Express. She’s attending the feast hosted by The Family – the glamorous planet’s rulers – as a representative of the Galaxy Rangers, an organization associated with Lan, the Aeon of The Hunt. They are a group of volunteers traveling the galaxy to dish out justice – they are basically wandering sheriffs, which is a picture that’s reinforced by their leader being called La Mancha.
Acheron will likely be accompanied by two other characters in update 2.1, which should be revealed over the next couple of days leading up to the Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 livestream. Many players are going to face some tough decisions over the next weeks with Acheron following up on Black Swan, Sparkle, and Misha – who will you pull for?
