Roll the dice and try your luck with the best Honkai: Star Rail Qingque build. This character feels almost like a break through the fourth wall by HoYoverse, as Qingque is wholly reliant on luck in combat. She’s a follower of the Path of the Erudition and deals Quantum Damage.

Qingque has the most unique mechanics out of any character in the game so far, drawing up to four tiles from three different suits into her hand to play a little game during combat. The goal is to get four Tiles of the same suit.

Here is how Qingque draws Jade Tiles:

  • Qingque draws one Tile whenever an ally starts their turn.
  • Qingque draws two Tiles upon using her Skill.

Here is how Qingque throws away Jade Tiles:

  • Qingque tosses away one Tile of whichever suit she has the least amount from during her Normal Attack.
  • Qingque consumes all Jade Tiles when entering the Hidden Hand state.

Yo dawg, we heard you like gachas, so we put a gacha character into your gacha game.

Whenever Qingque has four Jade Tiles of the same suit, she consumes them all to enter the Hidden Hand state, gaining Attack and enhancing her Normal Attack to become an area-of-effect attack with boosted damage.

Her Skill, A Scoop of Moon, lets her draw two Jade Tiles and immediately gains her an extra turn. It increases the damage of her Normal Attack for one turn, which can stack up to four times.

Qingque’s Ultimate, A Quartet? Woo-hoo!, deals Quantum Damage to all enemies on the field based on her Attack stat. It also changes all of her currently held Jade Tiles to the Fish suit.

Naturally, every battle with Qingque is a thrill.

Eidolon levels, which are gained by pulling duplicates of characters, are another way of powering them up. In Qingque’s case, level 1 boosts the damage of her Ultimate and level 2 regenerates a point of Energy whenever a Tile is drawn. Level 4 gives Qingque a 24% chance to trigger Autarky until the end of her next turn after using her Skill, which allows her to launch a follow-up attack against the target of her next Normal Attack. Level 6 enables her to restore a Skill Point for the team after using a Normal Attack enhanced by Hidden Hand, which otherwise is not possible.

Honkai: Star Rail – Qingque: best Light Cones

If you have Qingque’s Eidolon 4 and can launch follow-up attacks, it might theoretically be worth giving her access to Jing Yuan’s signature Light Cone, Before Dawn. However, you’re probably better off not doing that, as you won’t have an excessive supply of this rare equipment. Instead, use Qingque’s own signature Light Cone, Today is Another Peaceful Day.

It boosts the wearer’s damage based on their current Energy. Since Qingque’s Ultimate is on the more expensive side with 140 Energy and you can consistently gain Energy once you have her second Eidolon unlocked, this will consistently increase your damage output.

Best Light Cones for Qingque:

  • Today is Another Peaceful Day (4-Star)
  • Before Dawn (5-Star)
  • The Seriousness of Breakfast (4-Star)
  • Passkey (3-Star)
  • Sagacity (3-Star)

Honkai: Star Rail – Qingque: best Relics

Since Qingque is a gambler at heart anyways, just go all-in on Attack and other offensive stats. If you’re using Today is Another Peaceful Day you should get some Energy Regeneration Rate as well.

Honkai: Star Rail – Qingque: best teams

Qingque isn’t an amazing character in terms of raw damage output, as the luck factor inherent in her design makes her a bit inconsistent and her Skill doesn’t do any damage. However, he she’s definitely a figure you can have a lot of fun with.

Bronya and Tingyun boost Qingque’s damage output with their buffs, but they can also enable her to advance her turn and charge her Energy. Bailu is the party’s trusty healer and may – as usual – be replaced by Natasha, Luocha, Lynx, or Huohuo.

Mono-Quantum teams with Qingque, Silver Wolf, Seele, and Fu Xuan are great fun to mess around with as well.
