Opening Night Live at gamescom 2023 is done and if you couldn’t watch it live, then you missed a whole lot of video game information – as well as a stage invasion by a notorious heckler. Fear not, though, we’ve got everything announced and shown during ONL 2023 right here in one list.

The highlights include a new trailer for Alan Wake 2, which shows off the surreal nature of the dark place Alan Wake finds himself in – Remedy used a blend of game visuals and real film to make it look extra weird.

Director Zack Snyder dropped by to promote his upcoming series Rebel Moon, which is going to get a Netflix-exclusive tie-in game made by Super Evil Megacorp teased earlier this year.

Fans of RTS games ate well during the show, too, with Homeworld 3 revealing a new story trailer and the Infernal Host faction of Stormgate being shown off. Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin rounds off the RTS trio at Opening Night Live, unveiling its Nighthaunt faction as well as the new Conquest Mode. Wait, I lied: Age of Empires 4 is now available on Xbox Series X|S! There we go, not bad for a dead genre, huh?

The Nighthaunt have been revealed as Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin's third faction.

Speaking of surprise releases, collectible card game Marvel Snap is now out on PC via Steam, which was also announced at the show.

We got release dates for several titles as well with January and February 2024 already looking busy thanks to the likes of Tekken 8, Nightingale, and Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

HoYoverse showed off all of its three big-budget titles headed by the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero. We didn’t get a launch date for it, but finally saw some fresh footage.
