Genshin Impact 4.3 banners: Navia and Chevreuse debut

Every new and returning character coming with the update.

Update 4.3 of Genshin Impact is coming up at top speed ahead of Christmas and will add another lovely duo of playable Genshin Impact characters to the popular open-world RPG.

Navia has been a fan-favorite ever since her first appearance in the Fontaine teaser trailer and that adoration has only grown over time thanks to her important part in the region’s main story arc. She’ll finally become playable in the coming update and will likely cement her popularity – after all, her combat animations look absolutely stunning. Accompanying her will be Chevreuse, a Pyro character wielding a musket, making her quite a unique figure as well.

HoYoverse

As is tradition, update 4.3 will additionally feature some rerun banners to allow players to pull for characters released in the past. This particular patch will bring back beloved characters from Inazuma.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact 4.3 character banners.

Genshin Impact 4.3 banners: Phase 1

Starting on December 20, 2023, with update 4.3’s launch, you’ll be able to call upon the following characters:

Banner #1: Navia (5-Star character, claymore, Geo), Rosaria (4-Star character, polearm, Cryo), Candace (4-Star character, polearm, Hydro), and Sucrose (4-Star character, catalyst, Anemo).
Banner #2: Kamisato Ayaka (5-Star character, sword, Cryo), Rosaria (4-Star character, polearm, Cryo), Candace (4-Star character, polearm, Hydro), and Sucrose (4-Star character, catalyst, Anemo).

Navia

Navia is a damage dealer who not only uses her claymore to deal devastating blows to enemies. Her parasol doubles as a shotgun, enabling her to unload explosives from point blank range, and she can call upon a massive barrage of artillery as her Elemental Burst. That’s some firepower!

Kamisato Ayaka

Kamisato Ayaka is a powerful Main DPS that can serve as the core of any Cryo-based reaction team. She’s a fantastic pick-up for anyone looking to strengthen their line-up in this regard – on top of being one of the most adorable companions the game has to offer.

Rosaria

Rosaria is a useful Sub DPS on Cryo teams that can be used in the absence of Shenhe. Though she's not quite as strong as Shenhe in this role, anyone looking for a character to field alongside Ayaka won't be disappointed in the unusual nun.

Candace

Candace is another Sub DPS, though she's not commonly found in Cryo teams. Her Elemental Burst enables her to boost the damage of Normal Attacks imbued with elemental effects, making her a possible companion for Navia.

Sucrose

Sucrose is a very solid Anemo Support. She comes with the ability to greatly boost a team's elemental damage output in addition to shredding the enemy's resistance, if she's got the right artifect set equipped.

Genshin Impact 4.3 banners: Phase 2

After a duration of three weeks, the banners will change at the halfway point of the game version on January 10, 2024. That’ll make the following characters available:

Banner #3: Raiden Shogun (5-Star character, polearm, Electro), Chevreuse (4-Star character, polearm, Pyro), Kujou Sara (4-Star character, bow, Electro), and Bennett (4-Star character, sword, Pyro).
Banner #4: Naganohara Yoimiya (5-Star character, bow, Pyro), Chevreuse (4-Star character, polearm, Pyro), Kujou Sara (4-Star character, bow, Electro), and Bennett (4-Star character, sword, Pyro).

Raiden Shogun

Raiden Shogun can act as a Main DPS and a Sub DPS for teams, charging everyone’s energy reserves, providing off-field Electro effect, and unleashing her mighty Elemental Burst as a great finale to any team combo.

Naganohara Yoimiya

Yoimiya is a bit more narrow in regards to her role, being a clear cut Main DPS that wants to stay on the field most of the time and hammer her enemies with Pyro-infused arrows. Get her some Normal Attack buffs and off-field elemental effects, and she’ll do fantastic work.

Chevreuse

Chevreuse can use her musket to fire a short burst and unleash Pyro damage into an area or, alternatively, go into aiming mode and charge the weapon for an even greater effect. She can additionally heal the character following her on the field and provide damage buffs to Pyro and Electro characters. Her Elemental Burst, a grenade that splits into smaller grenades, creates even more chaos on the battlefield.

Kujou Sara

Sara is a solid support character for a variety teams, mainly providing offensive buffs. Her Electro application is nothing to scoff at and she can contribute some Energy Regeneration to the team as well.

Bennett

Bennett is one of the ultimate support characters Genshin Impact has to offer, providing an unbeatable combination of healing, offensive bonuses, and Pyro application that almost no unit can match.

Three weeks after the beginning of the second half of version 4.3, update 4.4 will arrive in the game with the next wave of character and weapon banners.
