Every new and returning character coming with the update

Version 3.7 of Genshin Impact is coming soon and just like previous patches this update features brand-new banners to pull playable Genshin Impact characters from. The deluge of new Dendro characters does not stop with this upcoming update, as another wielder of this element follows in the footsteps of Baizhu and Kaveh.

The cat-human hybrid Kirara from Inazuma, who is a 4-Star character, is the only fresh face we’ll get to welcome during version 3.7 with the rest of the banner slots being filled by returners.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact 3.7 character banners.

Genshin Impact 3.7 banners: Phase 1

Starting on May 24, 2023, with update 3.7’s release, you’ll be able to call upon the new character alongside a bunch of old names.

Banner #1: Yae Miko (5-star character, catalyst, Electro), Kirara (4-star character, sword, Dendro), and two additional 4-star characters.
Banner #2: Yoimiya (5-star character, bow, Pyro), Kirara (4-star character, sword, Dendro), and two additional 4-star characters.

Yae Miko

Yae Miko, the head priestess of the Grand Narukami Shrine, owner of Yae Publishing House, and the familiar of Raiden Shogun, is a more than capable combattant herself. She mainly deals off-field Electro damage, acting as a team’s battery by creating energy particles to recharge the Main DPS’ Elemental Burst.

Naganohara Yoimiya

Yoimiya can be a fantastic Main DPS on teams with a focus on standard attack damage. She can also reliably trigger reactions and is able to hit targets in the air, which can be quite helpful sometimes when fighting certain monsters in the Spiral Abyss.

Kirara

Kirara, a nekomata courier from Inazuma, is the first Dendro character from this region. She can reliably apply Dendro to enemies and create shields for the team.

Genshin Impact 3.7 banners: Phase 2

After a duration of three weeks, the banners will change at the halfway point of the game version on June 13, 2023.

Banner #3: Kazuha (5-star character, sword, Anemo), Xiangling (4-star character, polearm, Pyro), Yaoyao (4-star character, polearm, Dendro), and Shikanoin Heizou (4-star character, catalyst, Anemo).
Banner #4: Alhaitham (5-star character, sword, Dendro), Xiangling (4-star character, polearm, Pyro), Yaoyao (4-star character, polearm, Dendro), and Shikanoin Heizou (4-star character, catalyst, Anemo).

Kaedehara Kazuha

Kazuha is an excellent Anemo character, who brings crowd control, lots of Swirl reactions, and elemental resistance reduction to the table. He’s very flexible overall, making him a great addition to anyone’s roster.

Alhaitham

Alhaitham is the prime Dendro DPS available in the game at the moment. He works in several different compositions and is all around very strong. Worth pulling for if you’re still looking to bolster your Dendro line up.
