Satisfy your need for speed with the best Honkai: Star Rail Asta build and lead your party to glory. The Lead Researcher of Herta Space Station, Asta follows the Path of the Harmony and dishes out Fire Damage. She has a bit of a complicated past when it comes to her family, a rich dynasty deeply connected with the IPC – though she doesn’t make her riches available to you, Asta can be unlocked as a free character early on in the game.

Her Skill, Meteor Storm, first hits the target with Fire Damage and then attacks up to four random targets with additional attacks. Each different enemy hit this way charges her Talent, Astrometry. You can attain up to five stacks of Astrometry, three of which are deleted at the start of the turn. Each stack of Astrometry increases the Attack stat of all allies, enabling Asta to buff her team.

Asta’s Ultimate, Astral Blessing, is another teamwide boost, as it increases the Speed of all her allies for two turns.

Honkai: Star Rail Asta.

Asta may be a rich girl, but she has her heart and mind in the right place.

Asta’s most important Eidolon levels, which are obtained by pulling duplicates of her, are levels 2, 4, and 6: They make it so that Astrometry charges are not consumed in the turn after using her Ultimate, that her Energy Regeneration Rate is increased when she has two or more of the charges, and reduce the number of deleted charges to two.

Honkai: Star Rail – Asta: best Light Cones

Asta can make great use of Bronya’s signature Light Cone, which is called The Battle Isn’t Over and perfectly complements her kit.

It boosts the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate, which allows them to activate their Ultimate more often. In addition, their Ultimate then recovers a Skill Point when used on an ally, which is always the case for Asta. The Light Cone also allows the wearer’s Skill to provide the ally acting next with a Damage buff for one turn.

Best Light Cones for Asta:

  • The Battle Isn’t Over (5-Star)
  • Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds (4-Star)
  • Memories of the Past (4-Star)
  • Planetary Rendevouz (4-Star)
  • Meshing Cogs (3-Star)

Honkai: Star Rail – Asta: best Relics

Asta generates her buffs through attacking, making offensive stats a priority on her despite being a Support character. Speed and Energy Regeneration Rate are big concerns, as usual, as they greatly enhance the utility of a character in battle.

Her best Planar Ornaments depend on the type of composition you want to go for, so choose based on which effects best serve your allies.

Best Relic Sets for Asta:

  • Messenger Traversing Hackerspace (4) – +6% Speed, +12% Speed for all allies for one turn after the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally.

Best Planar Ornaments for Asta:

  • Fleet of the Ageless (2) – +12% maximum HP, +8% Attack for all allies when the wearer’s Speed surpasses 120.
  • Penacony, Land of the Dreams (2) – +5% Energy Regeneration Rate, +10% Damage for all allies of the same Damage Type as the wearer.
  • Broken Keel (2) – +10% Effect Resistance, +10% Critical Hit Damage for all allies when wearer's Effect Resistance is at 30% or higher.

Prioritize the following Relic and Planar Ornament stats for Asta:

  • Head – HP (Primary), Speed, HP %, Break Effect %, Effect Resistance %
  • Hands – Attack (Primary), Speed, HP %, Break Effect %, Effect Resistance %
  • Body – Attack % (Primary), Speed, HP %, Break Effect %, Effect Resistance %
  • Feet – Speed (Primary), HP %, Break Effect %, Effect Resistance %, Attack %
  • Planar Sphere – Fire Damage % (Primary), Speed, HP %, Break Effect %, Effect Resistance %
  • Link Rope – Energy Regeneration Rate % (Primary), Speed, HP %, Break Effect %, Effect Resistance %

Honkai: Star Rail – Asta: best teams

While not quite as potent as Bronya or Tingyun, Asta is a great addition to many teams thanks to her combination of Speed and Attack buffs, which allow her party to hit quicker and harder.

Seele is a Main DPS who especially benefits from a Speed boost, making Asta a pretty good choice to support her if you don’t have Bronya. Pela is present to debuff the enemy, reducing their Defense to enhance Seele’s effectiveness. Bailu, Natasha, or Luocha act as the party’s healers.

You can play this composition with Trailblazer (Physical), Sushang, Himeko, or Blade in the Main DPS slot quite effectively as well.

Focusing on Fire Damage, this composition can make great use of the Burn DoT as well as any bonuses provided by Light Cones or Relics that favor the use of the same Damage Type on allies.
