Honkai: Star Rail 1.4 characters will be Jingliu, Topaz, and Guinaifen
There we have it: All three upcoming characters for Honkai: Star Rail update 1.4 have been revealed by HoYoverse. Guinaifen, the 4-Star unit arriving with the patch, has been the final reveal. She’s another follower of the Path of The Nihility and deals Fire Damage.
Guinaifen appears to be a friend of Sushang and is not a Xianzhou native despite living on the Luofu as a street performer. Here’s her official description:
"Would you like to see me break that stone slab with my chest?"
An outworlder who ended up residing on the Xianzhou by accident. She is now a passionate and vivacious street performer. Faced with a whole new life on the Loufu and relying on her adoration of Xianzhou culture, Guinaifen quickly learned skills that would keep her clothed and fed – these being eating noodles upside down, smashing large stone upon the chest of others, and catching projectiles with her bare hands, et cetera.
Morgan Lauré is voicing Guinaifen in the English version of the game. She’s an experienced VA with many past anime series and video game performances under her belt.
Guinaifen has embraced the Xianzhou lifestyle and earns her keep as a street performer.

Guinaifen completes the trio of playable characters that’ll be available in the update 1.4 banners in Honkai: Star Rail. Jingliu and Topaz, two 5-Star units, have been revealed over the previous two days. Suffice to say, it’s going to be another strong version in terms of new characters, with the Stellar Jade reserves of many players pushed to the brink – there hasn’t been a single update yet which could be considered a miss in this department and the soaring income numbers definitely reflect that.
Speaking of strong characters: Imbibitor Lunae, the 5-Star form of Dan Heng, Fu Xuan, the person seeking to replace Jing Yuan as the Luofu’s general, and Lynx, the younger sister of Serval and Gepard, are going to be released in Honkai: Star Rail update 1.3.
